The average funeral in South Africa costs R30,000–R60,000. With Samelihle, your R350/month membership covers all arrangements — casket, hearse, vehicles, tent, flowers, programmes, and gravesite setup.
No. Samelihle Funeral Benefits is a service-based membership. We don't pay cash — we handle the entire funeral directly, removing all stress from your family.
We serve Brakpan, Springs, Benoni, Boksburg, Nigel, Tsakane, and the greater Ekurhuleni metropolitan area from our Brakpan office.
Yes, there is a 4-month waiting period from the date your membership starts. After this period, you are fully covered under your chosen benefits package.
We accept Cash (at our Brakpan office), Debit Order (automatic monthly collection), and EFT (electronic funds transfer).
Your membership covers you plus dependants as per your chosen package. Additional beneficiaries can be added at R60 per month each.
